STU Facilities are for STU Members and Authorised Persons only.

GENERAL
GUIDELINES
- All Applications for the Booking / Usage of STU Facilities need
to be made on the prescribed STU Facilities Booking Form (attached
as Appendix A).
- These Guidelines are subject to change at the Management's discretion.
- Acceptance of the Booking Applications will be subject to the
Management's approval and discretion. The Management's decision
will be final.
- Bookings by STU Member at STU Member's rates are to be made for
own personal use, only for Social, Educational, and Recreational
purposes, and not for Commercial and other purposes.
- Bookings for / or relating to Religious and Political purposes
will not be allowed for all Categories of Users. The Management
reserves the right to decline any booking without assigning reasons.
- Bookings will be made on a first-come-first-served basis, subject
to availability.
- No telephone bookings will be entertained.
- Payments need to be made at the time of the booking. Refunds
will not be made for cancellation of bookings.
- The Persons making the bookings, conducting functions, holding
events, and using STU's facilities, will accept full liability
and responsibility for their conduct and that of their Guests at
STU's Premises. They shall indemnify STU from any responsibility,
liabilities, or actions in the event of any losses, injury, accidents,
and damage caused.
"Housekeeping"
1. Includes the provision of whatever items that are
usually placed in the room, i.e. Tables, Chairs, etc., including Cleaning
up.
"Standard Equipment"
1. "Standard Equipment" comprises whatever equipment that
are usually placed in the Room.
2. For the Committee Meeting Room, Coffee and Tea will be provided
on an ad-hoc basis, if the requirement arises.
STU Member" & "Guests"
1. STU Members, and their Immediate Family (their Spouses, and Children
under 12 years' old) will enjoy STU Members' rates.
2. STU Members' Children above 12 years' old, Relatives, and Friends
will have to pay "Guest" rates.
3. STU Members will be accountable and responsible for all bookings
made, and the conduct of their Guests in the STU premises.
4. All bookings must be made by the STU Member, and will be recorded
in the name of the STU Member. The STU Member is required to be present
during the booking and the actual date of the booking itself.
" Corporate Bookings"
1. Pertain to bookings made by corporations and companies.
