| (1) | SIM Universty - STU Sponsorship Scheme As part of STU’s significant efforts to encourage its members to keep abreast of the continual changes in the education system, the Singapore Teachers’ Union (STU) and the SIM University (UniSIM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 23 July 2009 to offer four sponsorship places in each academic year to STU members. | (2) | Invitation to STU Delegates' Dialogue 2010 Held annually, the STU Delegates' Dialogue is a key union event to allow our valued school representatives to bring up issues of interest relating to work, professional development and union matters. We will also take the opportunity to gather useful feedback from delegates regarding current issues in school and to update on the latest union benefits and programmes. | (3) | Beginning Teachers' Forum 2010 As part f our proactive Industrial Relationships (IR) effforts, the Union will be organising a forum for beginning teachers to provide useful on how to clear the probation and to better understand some of the current issues relating to performance appraisal and promotion.
