Workshop Introduction

Games heighten student engagement, and games can be used in the teaching of any language. What is a game? How to create games at which everyone can win? What games can be used to teach various language skills? These are the key topics at this workshop. Workshop participants will experience games. They will also plan and try out games that they can use in their own teaching.

Feedback from Allied Educators

“Among all, your module was the most understandable and easy to apply. Mostly because of the hands-on you made us do. It not only helps us during our test but it sure will help us apply such teaching methods in class.

“I studied psychology for 5 years in UniSIM. I can really say that whatever I have learnt this week far exceeded what learnt in the past 5 years. And because of all the thinking you have asked us to do, I am sure I will remember what I have learnt and put them to use in July. I will keep you updated on the progress!
